Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce narrowly misses stadium record
There was a long list of world class records and exciting matches at the BAUHAUS Galan premiere on Thursday 30 July at Stockholm Olympic Stadium. The cool evening prevented any stadium records but in certain events it was close. Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce’s 10.93 victory in the 100m and Cuban Yarisley Silva’s winning height of 4.81 in the pole vault were frustratingly close to the prized diamond on offer by the organisers.
